How to know if someone likes you.
Look for mutual curiosity, reliable plans and respect for your boundaries. Texts can add context, but a direct conversation tells you more than one message ever could.

You cannot know someone's feelings from a single gesture or message. Look for voluntary attention, curiosity about your life and follow-through on plans. In person, notice whether they make room for you and respect your comfort. Warmth, eye contact and teasing can also be friendly, so avoid treating them as proof.
Over text, useful signs include returning to a topic you mentioned, asking questions that build on your answers and helping make a plan happen. A person who writes briefly may still show care through dependable actions. Someone who sends affectionate paragraphs may not be offering a relationship.
The clearest next step is a respectful invitation or a direct question. Let the answer matter, including a no. If you use our analyzer, the report focuses on a two-person conversation labeled You and Him; it describes patterns rather than predicting attraction for every possible relationship.
What to consider
- Does curiosity go both ways, across more than one conversation?
- Do invitations become specific plans, or stay hypothetical?
- Do their actions outside the chat fit what they say?
- Can you express interest without pressure to keep guessing?

How can you tell if a guy likes you over text?
Look for effort that costs him something: he texts first without a reason, asks follow-up questions and suggests specific plans β a day, a time, something to do. Fast replies and emojis are weaker signals. What counts most is that the effort stays consistent week to week.
Will it tell me if he loves me?
No. We don't guess feelings or give a βlove score.β We rate observable interest β strong, moderate, mixed or low β and show the behavior behind it.
Why not just ask ChatGPT about a screenshot?
A screenshot shows a moment. Whether he likes you is a pattern across weeks β who reaches out, whether plans happen. We count that across your whole chat.
What do I need?
A WhatsApp chat export (.txt or .zip) with at least 50 messages. To see when things changed, a few weeks and a few hundred messages work best.
Is my chat uploaded?
Your full chat is read on your device. For your report we keep statistics and up to 120 anonymized example messages, and delete the examples after 30 days.
